At least one parent must attend this meeting.  Bring your calendars and any remaining coupons that you wish to turn in.

Here is a preview of what’s ahead – we will talk about these in more detail at the meeting, but please note all remaining payments are due at this meeting!

SUPER SUNDAY will be Sunday, October 31st at Fort Vancouver High School from 2:00-10:00.  Specifics will be covered at the meeting. Cast & Crew are called 3:00-8:00pm.

TRUNK OR TREATING will begin as soon as kids can get into their costumes and those not attending have cleared the parking lot. (They’ll already have undergarments on so it shouldn’t take long.) All CYT families are invited to come. Don’t forget to bring treats to share.

COUPONS:
REHEARSAL DINNERS are provided for your convenience during dress rehearsal week, and between the two Saturday and school day shows.  Meals will be $3.50 each and MUST be pre-ordered with your coupon.  Meals do not include a drink; please make sure your child has a reusable water bottle in his/her costume box.   If your child has a hearty appetite, feel free to order more than one meal.  Also, if any family members will be present during these times and would like to eat, please order their meals with a coupon as well.

FLOWER ORDERS- If you would like to have flowers waiting for you at the souvenir stand on opening night you can be order them with the coupon.

CLOSING STRIKE PARTY will be held in the cafeteria at Fort Vancouver High School after the closing show on November 14th.  Everyone is invited; cast, crew, family and friends!  There is no charge to attend the Strike Party.  If you would like to join us for dinner the cost is $6.00 per person: (baked and fried) chicken, salad, breadsticks, dessert and drinks. The coupon for ordering these meals is due at our meeting on Friday.

AT THE DOOR or NEW COUPON:

OPENING NIGHT PARTY will be held in Ft. Vancouver’s cafeteria.  We will be charging $5 per family for this event and will have each family sign up to bring a specific item.  You will have the opportunity to sign up at the meeting. Drop off before the show is allowed although no refrigeration is available.

***********************************************************************************
DIRECTORS GIFTS are a tradition at CYT.  We like to show extra appreciation to our Director, Choreographer, Music Director, Area Coordinator and Assistants with a gift at the Strike Party.  There will be a manila envelope in the Magic Box you can add your (optional) contributions to.

THANK YOU’s for any individuals or businesses who contributed to our show will be collected by the Program committee.

Committee Time for all full-show and show-run committees will follow our general meeting.

Your commitment of time, energy and resources is invaluable. Your contribution in the production of Little Mermaid allows our families the opportunity to develop character and build lasting relationships. Thank you for your dedication to Christian Youth Theater.

Program & Congrats Ads

The Little Mermaid Program Committee has been able to give us until class time on Thursday to turn in advertisements.

So, if you have an Advertisement you would like to place
you can still email the information to wildstanley@aol.com
or bring it to classes and place it in the Magic Box.

If you forgot to turn in your Congrats Ads please
send them to Darby Stringer at darbyStringer@gmail.com or the Stanley's at wildstanley@aol.com.

We still have room for ads, and they are a critical part of providing a quality program.

Please, let's make a final push to bring in those ads, so that we can not only provide an excellent Little Mermaid program but also support CYT Vanport.

CONGRATS and PERSONAL ADS

New Opportunity:
Have a CYT Friend or family member with Little Mermaid
as their last show? Do you know of a birthday or anniversary
during the run of the show? Do you just want to send someone
a big Thank You?
You could always place a nice congrat ad in the program for $5
but even better get creative and place a personal advertisement in the program for 30% off list price and make a real statement.
Just let a member of your program committee know what you would like, and we can make it happen.

Clean-up Schedule

Hello Little Mermaid Families,

The Green Room Committee is in the process of finalizing the clean-up schedule for dress rehearsal week and performance days. Each cast and crew member is assigned a time to help clean our rented facility at least once. If you are carpooling with another family and would like to have your child scheduled on the same day as another, please e-mail Cheri and I by this Sunday evening, October 17th. It is our desire to have the clean-up schedule finalized and available next Friday’s parent meeting.

Thanks very much for your help and we're looking forward to a wonderful show!

Most sincerely,

Kevin and Cheri Hogan

so please ask at:

The kids school, Day Care, Gas station, Mechanic, Pizza Place, Athletic Club, Insurance agent, Real estate agent, Doctor, Dentist, Hair dresser.

The Challenge going out to everyone this week is for everyone to ask at least two places to place an advertisement. It only takes a minute and sure they might say no, but you will never know if you don't ask.

If you run into any problems or questions, please contact John or Julie Stanley at wildstanley@aol.com.
