Sewing Saturday

Becky Odem would love your help (even if you're not on the costume committee) at the office this Sat. from 9am-1pm for a sewing work party.  Please bring your sewing machine and/or sewing box.  We need help with cutting out and sewing costumes.

SATURDAY Rehearsal CHANGE for Sea Creatures and Minions

Sea Characters and Minions will not be called this Saturday (October 2nd) as originally planned.  We are working on obtaining supplies for their specialty make-up. We will schedule a different day to learn their make-up techniques.

All others will be called as planned:

Ariel, Cha Cha, Eric, Guppy, Katina, Kavender, Octavia, Sharks, Servants (costume fitting), Tailor

Charm Orders Due Sat. Oct. 2nd

CHARM ORDER FORM
We are taking orders for charms for our show.
These Sterling Silver charms and charm bracelets are a great memory keepsake.
They are perfect for Christmas and make a wonderful CYT aging out gift.
You can put the order in the Magic Box at classes this week or at rehearsals on Friday/Saturday.

The deadline for t-shirt orders has been extended to this Thursday at 5:15pm. I realized that my original post with the show t-shirt design did not include an order form and was the reason many were surprised by the early deadline.  Please accept my apologies for the confusion.

This Friday....

FIRST REHEARSAL for ALL Cast & Crew
Friday, September 24
4:30-8:30pm (Cast) & 4:30-6:00 (Crew)
Crew is welcome to stay until 8:30pm

First Church of God
3300 NE 78th Street
Room 221
Please drive around to the back of the church to drop off your kids.

We will be taking PROGRAM PHOTOS at this first rehearsal. Cast and crew should wear a dark, solid shirt (no logos) for their photo. Cast members should dress comfortably, wear good shoes for dancing (no flip-flops or sandals), bring a three ring binder (for handouts, music, script), a pencil, water bottle and dinner/snack.

Optional: You can order pizza for $1.50/slice when you arrive.

Cast members will also be asked to leave a $5 deposit to check out a rehearsal CD, if you haven't already done so. Deposits will be returned at the end of the show when the student returns their CD.

Cast parents are required to attend this meeting. Crew parents are encouraged to attend, especially if you are new to CYT.

123 Movie Night!!!

1 Night – 2 Movies – $3.00

HYPE's 123 Movie Night is TONIGHT, 6:00pm at First Church of God in Room 120.


Come join us, for two family friendly movies and lots of fun!
Bring a blanket, your pillow and come in your PJ's! Popcorn and Water come with admission. We will be selling extra snacks for $1.00. You must be currently enrolled in CYT to attend.
Parents- Please bring your child(ren) in and make sure we have your phone number. Thanks!


Remember if you have more than 2 people in your family attending the cost is $5.00

Callback Reminders

Please be prompt for the time you are called. Callbacks are closed- only the Artistic Team and Area Coodinator observe. Callbacks will be held at the First Church of God, please drive to the back parking lot and use the second floor entrance.

Wear comfortable clothes and shoes, no flip-flops or sandals, as dance auditions are part of callbacks. Bring a snack or lunch if you are called all day. Don't forget your water bottle.

If you are not called back it does not mean you are not cast in the show! The complete cast and crew list will be posted on the callboard under each respective show at 5:00 PM Sunday evening.
